Breakfast was good...cooked for us by Carrie Wonderful room and such comfortable beds A lovely big fridge in our room! We had two whippet dogs which were welcomed

Owners very welcoming. Room very clean yet little dated, but very bright and spacious. Breakfast was in the pub and again the owners were lovely and made breakfast to order.

The venue overall was a little cluttered both inside and outside the pub. We were travelling with a toddler so that meant early to bed but unfortunately had poor signal for the TV and couldn’t connect to the WiFi.

Room and room facilities were good

No communication, no evening food served and were not willing to provide breakfast at 0800 instead of 0830

The room was good. Very clean and comfortable and separate from the pub

The rest! The ‘pub’ was dreadful. No beer, tired and the owners living room was in a corner of the bar.

Excellent accomodation in converted coach house with patio. Friendly atmosphere, very obliging hosts. Food here is exceptionally high quality. This gem of a pub has a great character and history and has not been gutted or overly modernised. Location perfect for walking or visiting sights...(Broughton Castle, Upton House).. Intend to return for longer.
