The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center

Had king bed reserved… put us in room with two double beds…finally got the king bed after complaining.., no conditioner in bath containers. Embassy suites much better buy!

Enjoyable three night stay at Crown Center Westin as first time visitors to KC. The hotel itself is somewhat outdated, but the reception and lobby bar area are all renovated. Hotel is attached to the Mall which is a nice feature for dining and just general window-shopping. Our room was very spacious, clean, and quiet for sleeping with good aircon. We had a view overlooking the pool and striking war memorial tower. There was a quasi-balcony, which did not open to the outside, which was too bad. The pool is nothing fancy and needed to be cleaned, but still a pleasant spot to relax and take a dip. They really do try to cheer things up with beautiful flowers and decorative grasses, but there’s a lot of unattractive cement to detract from. TIP – There is a water refill station in the gym, which is near the pool. We used the paid self-parking which is attached to the hotel with easy access. Once you park and take a ticket, the hotel will replace the ticket with your room key for in and out privileges and it’s billed to your room-very convenient. For breakfast we went to Panera across the street and Starbucks in the Mall. We did go to the lounge at night a few times, which was bustling with conference attendees. Location is convenient for WWI Museum, Union Station and the “street car”. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Crossroads or oppositely to KC Wheel and Boulevard Brewing.

It is located in a perfect area. Close to so many other cool spots. The staff was friendly, the rooms were nice. The blanket on the beds was the best!

Nothing really

So many options for dining and shopping. A very convenient location for the mueseum and other activities! The parking was somewhat confusing but our trip was abit last minute so we were unable to research before our stay. The front were so accommodating and kind!

Hotel room was very attractive and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel is close to so many things and had airbridges go Union Station.

Absolutely WONDERFUL staff!! Extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return.

I requested a room I’ve stayed in before and they gave it to me! I love staying here and will be back soon.
