very large open rooms and plenty of space to both work and relax. would stay again.

It's exactly what you want from a hotel. It was quiet and clean and the free breakfast was fantastic.

First time I felt unsafe in a Marriott and concerned for my family. Don’t stay here unless you want to stay with homeless squatters. woke up to find eviction notices (at least 10) on the door and all over the floor directly across from our room. And apparently not new information to the staff- they told us the police had come on multiple occasions about it- yet knowingly put a child directly across the hall (and hotel was not full). And didn’t warn us. The situation was so disconcerting a bag of clothes was left accidentally. Inquired less than a day later - took 3 phone calls and 4 hours for them to let us know that it had been thrown out. All that and room was also dark, worn and not especially clean.

Excellent stay, I'll definitely be back! It was a wonderfully peaceful stay. And the staff was fantastic.

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding weekend and had to move rooms twice. The first time was because our room smelled like smoke from a guest using incense across the hall. We moved rooms the second time because a neighbor's TV was on the whole night and made it hard to sleep. Besides that, the rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was solid. 
We chose the Residence Inn White Plains because we thought it would provide a calm and comfortable environment before our wedding. It failed to do that and that it is why I am giving it only two stars.

The property is very nice, but the staff are what makes this place so special. From the front desk, to the housekeeping, to the breakfast attendants, they were all superior. My daughter missed breakfast by 10 minutes and the sweet staff still made her a waffle. They go above and beyond!

The suite was large and clean. Check-in was easy.
