Baker's Cay Resort Key Largo, Curio Collection By Hilton

Just back from 3rd visit there. Its a very nice resort with hundreds of kids running around at the beach so not great for couples looking for romantic getaway. Food is good, Staff is very nice but be prepared for over an hour to get food. For $800 a night they need to upgrade wifi, especially for anyone who might need to work a little using laptop. Overall great place just need a few things due to what it costs to stay there.

Breakfast was wonderful! Tashana was our server and she was fabulous! View was incredible.

Virginia was our waitress and she made our experience so much better. She advised us of the auto gratuity and gave recommendations for our time here

Had breakfast at Caluso, Tashawna was an absolute star!! Her service is impeccable! Her attitude is amazing so bubbly and refreshing! 10 stars!

We had reservations here on 4/3/26 and overall our experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The table was right off the patio, with an amazing view. Our waitress was so awesome. She recommended the grouper and it was SOO good!! I would rate this 5 stars however, my husbands NY steak was pretty basic for $55. It was cold, the color was more of a greyish than a normal “brown” streak. Thankfully, Virginia ( our waitress) was so kind and got us something different ( braised short rib) to eat and it was sooo much better!!

Our stay at Baker’s Cay Resort was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The property itself is beautiful—lush, well-maintained, and perfectly captures that relaxed Keys vibe. The beach areas are peaceful, the water views are stunning, and there’s a great balance between family-friendly energy and quiet spots to unwind. What truly made our experience exceptional, though, was the service—especially Marvin, who took care of us on the beach each day. Marvin went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, always checking in at just the right moments without ever being intrusive. His friendliness, attention to detail, and genuine warmth really stood out. By the end of our stay, he felt like part of the experience, not just our server. It’s rare to find a place where both the setting and the people leave such a lasting impression, but Baker’s Cay delivered on both. We’ll absolutely be back—and we’ll be hoping to see Marvin again when we do.

We had a great stay at Bakers Cay. We loved the relaxed vibe but ease of the resort. The beach is nice and calm and shallow so we could enjoy and relax while our little guy could play. It was easy for kids to make friends playing in the sand and collecting shells. The sparkling wine truck on the beach at sunset is a great touch. The food at Calusa was delicious and we ate there several times during our stay. We also liked the daily activities including the arts and crafts and smores on the beach. Special shout out to Travis at the Tiki Bar who took great care of us and also makes phenomenal “pain relievers”!!!

We came to Baker's Cay for the second time. It did not disappoint! Plenty of family activities and impeccable service. Shout out to the beach bar staff of Marvin, Jesse and Travis for their excellent service. Highly recommend and will look forward to our next visit.

It was a great property that wasn’t too large or too corporate. The location to the private beach was perfect. We had fantastic and attentive staff! They were fun and they worked hard. The food at all the restaurants were also extremely good.

We heard the supervisor yelling at an employee rather loudly in front of guests was awkward. We had a great experience with all staff.

We have stayed at this hotel for almost 20 years. Since taken over by Curio Hilton, the prices have gone up, up, up and the service has gone down, down, down. From making a reservation to getting basic amenities expected from such a resort, it has been an ordeal. Watch out for 20% gratuity automatically added to your dining bills, parking fees, exorbitant resort fee and taxes for mediocre service, long wait at unimaginative restaurants, unmaintained pool area, dirty pool and beach tables. It looks like the staff and hotel management do not seem to really care. Too bad, so many fond memories from the past. The location remains lovely but the hassle and the price do not make it worth it.
