Reagan and Austin were truly fantastic and made my time at the bar a standout part of my stay. From the moment I sat down, they were both incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They have a natural way of creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. What I appreciated most was how effortless they made everything feel - checking in at the right moments, offering great suggestions, and remembering small details that made the experience feel personal. It’s rare to find a team that works so well together and brings such genuine energy and care to what they do. Because of them, the lobby restaurant lounge became the perfect place to unwind, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my visit. Amazing service from both Reagan and Austin, thank you for making the experience so enjoyable!

Throughly enjoyed the room, restaurant, pool, fitness center and the grounds. We especially loved our waitress, Magda, in the restaurant. She was very hospitable, polite and accommodating to our breakfast desires, as was the rest of the LaLuz staff. But Magda stood out to us. The food was the best it has ever been (we have stayed here many times) and the serving sizes (breakfast, lunch, dinner, late dinner, etc) were much larger than any other luxury resort we’ve stayed in. Cudos to ALL of the La Luz Restaurant staff 👏👏👏 Pool staff very polite and kept the area clean, quite and enjoyable. The grounds staff was very friendly and professional. Not a blade of grass or rock out of place. The front desk was also very friendly and helpful in getting us our wonderful rooms… with the BEST BEDS EVER!! Thank you to all for a wonderful time! We had such a wonderful stay at The Westin La Paloma. From the moment we pulled up, the desert scenery and the resort’s beautiful architecture made us feel like we were in for something special. The mountain views were stunning, and everywhere you looked was just gorgeous. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had that relaxed, upscale vibe that instantly puts you at ease. Honestly, that alone would have made for a great trip. But what really made this visit unforgettable was the staff — especially Abraham Lemas from Guest Services. From check-in to the day we left, Abraham and the team went out of their way to make us feel not just welcome, but truly cared for. They remembered our names, anticipated little things we might need, and added thoughtful touches that made all the difference. One moment that stood out: when we arrived, there was a handwritten birthday card waiting for me, signed by Abraham and several staff members, along with a delicious chocolate cake. It wasn’t just the cake itself — it was the effort and sincerity behind it that made me feel so appreciated. In a time when hotel service can sometimes feel routine, the team at La Paloma reminded us what genuine hospitality looks like. They made us feel like family, as if we were the most important guests there. A huge thank you to Abraham and the entire La Paloma team. You turned what could have been just a nice vacation into something truly memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Our visit to the La Paloma couldn’t have been better. We were there for a conference but arrived a couple of days early for some R&R. The nice woman who checked us in, Hally, was wonderful, and got our stay off to a great start. She is definitely going places in the hospitality industry. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. We had a great Mountain View and the daily maid service was great as well. The conference went very smoothly also. We hated to leave!

When checking in for our three night stay during November 2025, Abigail, Charles, and Shianna assisted with customer service during our corporate event - top notch hospitality!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. My small department and I went here for a work retreat weekend. From check-in to check-out, we felt so taken care of. Michelle started everything off and worked hard to get my colleagues and myself in consecutive rooms. Our hotel rooms and meeting room had gorgeous rooms. The meeting room, itself, was beautiful. It was also quiet and with all of the AV equipment we needed to conduct business/teaching. The food was phenomenal and lunch was served as a 3-course meal. My colleagues and I work really hard and pour our hearts and souls into our jobs. The people who work at Westin La Paloma put just as much love and compassion into their work as we do, and it felt amazing to be around that, and to also be at the receiving end for once. I would like to specifically recognize Michelle and Fernando. Michelle took care of us whenever we needed anything (getting our rooms together, getting directions to somewhere, getting copies of lecture slides printed), and Fernando took care of us and all of our nutritional needs during our meeting. They were both personable, helpful, and chatty, but also never got in the way of us getting our work done. Because I asked my colleagues to work over a weekend, I treated them to massages. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne and the sauna/steam rooms. We enjoyed dinner at La Luna, which was fantastic. The cocktails were well made. The grounds and jacuzzi are beautiful at night and a great way to relax before jumping into one of their very cozy beds. I highly recommend this resort for vacation or for a business meeting. They will take care of you and make your day feel effortless. I will likely return here for personal leisure, and if I am fortunate enough to be able to host this work retreat annually, I plan to return here year after year.
