Crowne Plaza Phoenix - Chandler Golf Resort by IHG

This is NOT a 4 STAR HOTEL! My profound disappointment and disgust with the conditions and service I experienced during my recent stat at the Crowne Plaza - Golf Resort in Chandler AZ are reflected in this review. I believe the issues I encountered are a serious reflection on the standards of your establishment. Durning my stay at your hotel I was subjected to numerous unacceptable issues including: First, in room 254, as I walked in the room smelled like a sewer. The toilet in my room was unacceptably dirty with someone else's butt slide on the back of the toilet seat as if it was never even wiped down. The back of the bed frame had such a substantial amount of dust it raised even more concern on the cleanliness of this establishment. The bathmat was literally full of HOLES. The coffee tray was not clean. Kleenex was empty. Surfaces were also dirty. I was moved to room 102. New carpet, but this is NO remodeled room. The blackout blind was riddled with holes rendering it ineffective and the appearance was filthy. The glasses used at the hotel bar look dingy and dirty: time for a new dishwasher or some staff that are concerned about presentation and take the time to hand dry the glasses to look clean. I had asked for a late checkout and was told no problem as I am an IHG member. When it came to the day to check out, I was told I needed to call the day of leading to unnecessary confusion and frustration. These issues are not minor inconveniences; they represent a fundamental failure to provide a clean, comfortable and hygienic environment that one expects from a hotel, especially one under the Crown Plaza Brand with IHG. The sheer number and severity of these problems suggest a severe disregard for guest satisfaction and basic operation standards. Frankly, the Owner/Manager of this hotel should be disgraced by the deplorable conditions present. I am only writing this to make others aware and the possibility that management will step up and do better.

This property was very comfortable to stay in, but there was a lot of construction on the grounds at the time, and I had to walk around a very long way to get to something that should have only taken me a few minutes. The beds were very comfortable, and the bar downstairs was nice. A lot of food and shopping options nearby.

Great place to stay . Lots of shops and places to eat

Staff was awesome, food was amazing...whoever the chiefs are, you guys are awesome! Rooms are really nice and pool was nice. Overall this resort is kid friendly and that's what made me like this resort much better.

A very economical and enjoyable staycation

I have stayed at this property multiple times and enjoy it each time. Perfect location and friendly staff.
