Mar Monte Hotel, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

I would highly recommend working with the Mar Monte Hotel for a wedding room block. Their team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and organized from start to finish. They checked in on guest needs before the block even opened, which immediately set a different tone from other hotels we worked with. Our guests found the rooms clean, charming, and updated, and the staff consistently went out of their way to make things easy. They even sent photos of where our wedding transportation buses would be staged so I could share the exact location with guests. That level of thoughtfulness made a huge difference during a busy wedding week. If you want a beachfront experience for your wedding guests with fair pricing, great service, and beautiful rooms, choose the Mar Monte. They made the entire process smooth and stress free.

Awesome getaway and a real hidden gem in the neighbourhood! Enjoyed every bit of it! Room was clean and stylish, breakfast was amazing! Enjoyed riding a bike along the coast!

Kiran took great care of us by the pool. She was awesome! We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and this was the perfect getaway. It was also so nice to be right next to the beach and leave the car for a few days.

The customer service and location and everything was amazing

Beautiful hotel. There is a street in-between the hotel and the beach. From the pictures it seems the hotel is directly on the beach. The breakfast is incredible.

Arrived at the hotel to find no self parking other than street parking. Be prepared for $50 a night valet/VIP parking. As we were there for a convention, I had multiple rooms books under my name. Nick with the front desk staff was friendly and helpful with assigning the rooms to the appropriate people staying in them. Room was found to be spacious enough with an in-room fridge, coffee maker, and safe. The bathroom was large and clean. Bed was firm but comfortable. Only part I found odd about the room was there was no dresser so your choices are either hang everything up in the bathroom or you’re living out of your suit case. Overall, a good stay

It's an old but nice building on the south end of santa barbara. Walkable to the Funk district. Rooms are large, but sparse. Some rooms with balconies have zero privacy - you are right next to your neighbor. The restaurant is good. Friendly guests - staff not as friendly. Very dog friendly. Good overall, but I'd pick some place else next time.

This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities and a very friendly staff. We could see and hear the ocean from our room and thoroughly enjoyed the very nicely heated pool in February! We also did not need to leave the hotel for anything. There are on site restaurants and drinks you can purchase in the lobby to take back to your room if you want.
