Life House, South of Fifth

Loved the large queen bedrooms overlooking the front of the hotel. Spacious and well designed.

Room carpet, sofa, floor, restroom all dirty. The cabinet door was broken. Outlets didn’t work. Tile floor was shifting.

Life House, South of Fifth is a hidden gem. Great hotel and a quiet location in a mostly residential neighborhood, but just a 10 minute walk to the touristy things in South Beach. And special shout out to Danny, who is top-notch! ~David

This place was nice, clean, and the staff was friendly.

Pictures are a bit better than reality of property — not as modern as you’d think. Room was not as clean as hoped, air also smelled stale and the hotel scent was so strong it was making the overall scent worse. Good price for South Beach but what is perceived to be a cool, clean & cheap option is more the latter than the cool and clean parts.

I stayed here last year and it was amazing so I was looking forward to my visit. BUT apparently new owners have taken over. The restaurant is now closed. The buffet breakfast does not exist. The hallway carpets are filthy. Worst of all there was a strange musty damp smell in the whole of the Guest House which permeated to every room. Presumably through the air con to be everywhere. I couldn't possibly have stayed the night there so had to leave. If you look at the Life House Group I am astounded that they are still advertising this venue

Great location and hotel.

Look no further if you have a group!! We reserved the family suite and this was perfect! Super clean, cozy, and stylish. The location is unparalleled in Miami Beach and right next to the beach.

Cool lobby area. Strong perfume smell.
