Breakfast was fantastic, a huge variety, eaten on a beautiful terrace. Giuseppi was an absolute delight, he couldn't have done more for us. A very characterful old building, and a spacious room with terrace. Wonderful.

For me [arthritic foot], there were rather too many steps down to the garden, but it was our choice to go for that room.

Very spacious, high ceilings, very authentic? Very big old house. Beautiful! Lovely bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic: all homemade, even the yogurt! Very friendly owner, Giuseppe.

We slept in a family suite, but my husband is the who needs to sleep in single bed because of his health , so our boys slept in the double bed, we slept in the single beds. Those beds are not suitable for heavy adults and the extra room is quite small. My husband did not sleep very well. I should have factchecked the beds, but a mentioning on Booking would be great. The boys had fun in their palazzo room ;-).

Excellent location, breakfast, host Giuseppe, felt honoured to be welcomed in old family mansion, full of character. Found free parking 10 min walk away. Great stay.

From the moment of my arrival hosts Giuseppe and Vanessa could not have been more accommodating and kind. My very large main bedroom (#2 - the double room) truly felt as if I were a guest in an old style palazzo with period furniture, a patterned marble floor, two balconies, a chandelier, and a remarkable ceiling. The entry room - had two beds, a chandelier, a coffee/tea station, a refrigerated mini-bar, and yet another balcony window. Breakfast included the tasty treats and jams prepared by Vanessa, as well as home made yogurt, fresh fruits, and made to order omelets if it suited one's fancy. The location was also perfect, near the beautiful public garden, an array of eateries, and a few minutes walk up to the Duomo di San Giorgio. The town of Ragusa Ibla truly delighted, but was made all the better by my stay at Residenza Donnafugata B&B.
