We loved the location - so close to so much that mattered, and of interest to us (mainly eating places). The staff were excellent and very attentive. Our room was quite large, but the bathroom was a bit small; in the remodeling of the bathroom too much attention was given to the large shower at the expense of the other facilities.

We stayed here over the long Easter weekend with our family of 5. We booked a king suite connected to a regular king room which had a balcony looking over the west side of the hotel (towards the Brisbane Eye). Overall was a pleasant enough stay as rooms were tidy and clean and housekeeping kept the room refreshed daily. I would note that we could definitely hear thumping on Saturday evening - even at level 11. Also parking on site is a nightmare. The "driveway" so to speak if not very safe nor large enough for drop offs as most cars park all over (quite literally) to check in or do whatever else they need to do. There is NO valet minding the area so it is really a free for all. As we had family bring us to the hotel to and from the airport, we found it extremely difficult to unload bags, let alone 3 toddling children in a busy carpark. I'd also note that there was no way to add soap or bath salts etc to the tub as all the soaps were fixed to the tiles. A small packet of salts or bath bubbles would have done the job as essentially you'd only be able to fill the tub with plain water. I'd note that we chose this hotel given the proximity to the main vicinity of Southbank and the ability to separate our three children during sleep so they would not disturb each other during wakings/crying.
