"Extremely basic but very central and staff are great"

Great location, lots of stairs up but wonderful staff helped me with my case, serviceable bathroom, good charging points, small room but fine for a single traveller like me

No wifi; lots of noise from the street during the night; instructed to leave the key in the room upon checkout, but when you do there's no way to lock the room door behind you - anyone could interfere with it. No water glasses in the room. Black specks on the bedding, not sure what they were, might be nothing.

"Plain but comfy stay. Perfect for an overnight stay."

In a great location, not right in the middle but walking distance to most areas of Liverpool. Just what I needed, a bed for the night with private bathrrom, no frills.

I prefer a kettle and brewing stuff in my room so I dont have to go out to the communal kitchen in my pj's.
