Honestly not sure why the google reviews are that bad. I told them what time I'd be there to check in, called the number on the door and checked in under 5 mins. Room was tidy, bathroom was literally fine, although shower could do with cleaning at bottom of door but I've stayed in much worse places before. 😭 There's a communal kitchen & lounge area with an ironing board. Hallway smelt a bit odd but I imagine that's just because the doors from the kitchen are kept open 24/7. The room didn't smell of anything though so that was a solid, and I stayed in Room 4 which was right near the kitchen. Overall you get what you pay for, and obviously prices are elevated everywhere for a weekend stay, so I think it was fair.

Didn't run into any problems, check in & out was simple.
