The bed was amazingly comfort. I wish I knew the brand and type of this bed. Just what I want for my home. Slept like a baby. However, the pillows were terrible. Barely called a pillow.

"Flawless customer service "

Lyn and Ann were wonderful at the front desk; amazing customer service. They made our stay magical with a king room on the last floor and treating us to free cookies! They were our first impression of this hotel and it is one that will last.

"Not what was needed after a long flight to get to Anchorage."

It was the most reasonable available. The bed was very comfortable.

Lack of appropriate number of staff. We traveled from Texas, a long flight. We arrived after check-in time and our room was not ready for a couple of hours. Went to the restaurant. Only two waitstaff. Took a long time to get waited on and even longer to get our food and then to pay. Several cruise boat passengers were in this hotel and the large crowd should have been anticipated by having more hotel staff to accommodate the large numbers of guests.

"Enjoyable, clean hotel"

The Sheraton Anchorage hotel was an enjoyable stay. The staff members were all friendly and efficient. Check-in was quick and the receptionist was delightful. Our room was spacious and clean. Great amenities with waters and upscale hair/shower products. Plenty of towels and little extra touches. The bed was the highlight! Great night’s sleep in clean sheets and comfortable pillows. The club level lounge was a great place in the morning to talk to our travel group- comfortable with a beautiful view. The breakfast selection was a little limited. For dinner we ate at the Jade restaurant. Delicious food and wonderful service. Thank you Sheraton for a great stay!

"Comfortable Stay - But Needs a Renovation"

Had an overnight stay prior to continuing travels throughout Alaska. On the positive side the hotel is centrally located with friendly staff. The access to the club was nice to have snacks and breakfast in the morning. The hotel is dated though and needs a good amount of work and refurbishment. From the room furniture and "bones" of the room. Arriving in peak season rates are expected to be higher, but overall a nice stay.
