The Swiss Cottage, Shanklin

Hosts were pleasant and friendly. Bedding was changed when I mentioned it was too warm. Good breakfast. Good room. Comfortable bed. Easy to arrange an extra night.

It’s so comfy and very welcoming. Loved the breakfast. Such an amazing choice. Everything is fresh and loved the cold water in the little fridge in our room. So many little things add to our room. Thank you.

Nothing. It’s was amazing

I had a poor welcome. Fortunately, I decided to stay and see how it worked out. The room was very comfortable and had lots of extras like a small fridge and a good selection of powdered drinks. The shower and toilet and hand basin were high quality with plenty of gels/soaps etc. Towels were high quality. The TV was good, plenty of cupboard and drawer spaces. However, it was impossible to receive emails and Internet. The East Esplanade was two minutes away and access to the Chine and beaches very easy. The bus station was close and access to shops good. I was there for 4 nights and had a very enjoyable time. I thought the separate price for breakfast of £10 was excessive and felt the advertised price should make clear that it was for accommodation only. It's B and not B&B.

Breakfast was excellent and location too.

Minutes away from Shanklin bus station it was easy to find. Bright, clean and comfortable. Ten minutes from Chine and beach, five minutes from town and shops. Friendly, helpful owners
