The Bull Hotel

We stayed in the apartment situated in the back of the hotel, big and comfortable, best night's sleep in ages, very pleasant young man signed us in and served breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was really nice, (12inch sausage was just delicious) has improved greatly from my last visit a few years ago. Would recommend.

The apartment we stayed at was not clean, there was cobwebs hanging from the light fittings a dead spider was by the toilet. It looked at though the apartment had been left for some time and not cleaned fro a while

The cleanliness

Room great size with large comfortable bed. Very hot water for shower or bath The ribs meal was large and thoroughly enjoyable.

Great location as attending Cuckoo Fair the following day.Easy parking and friendly host who made me feel welcomed.

Hum of air conditioning,but I did leave window open.

Landlord was very friendly. Food was amazing

Step down to the bathroom, kept tripping!

The location of the hotel between Salisbury and Bournemouth is ideal. The staff were great and the food and drink were out of this world. Even though you are on a main road you can't hear much noise from it in the garden or rooms. A lovely place to stay

Well priced for the area, plenty of parking , found Downton a pleasant quiet village, staff were helpful and welcoming
