Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center

we went for a dance competition while ago. The rooms and hotel were ok, nothing great. I was expecting it to be fun design based on the outside, but no...just typical boring hotel. The kids had fun in the pool, which was very large but I can see that since then it has closed permanently. That was pretty much the only upsell, so that's disappointing. The hotel was under repair while we were there so lots of construction and blocked elevators but not huge deal. The customer service was my biggest issue with this place. I was in my room and got an email that I checked into another room while sleeping. I ended up being double charged. I called several times and never received any follow-up or callback that i was told would come. No one fixed the charges, i finally had to dispute w/ my credit card company. Big hassle but I'm assuming they were non responsive to my credit card company as well because eventually the claim just settled. Kind of frustrated that we do a dance competition here often but i really don't want to stay ever again.

The location, easy to get to from the Mass Pike. Ample parking. Very nice front desk staff, helpful.

The 1st room I was given 618 smelled like a sewer, the front desk moved me to 604. This room also had an odor but nothing like 618. I don't know where to start, the carpet and bedskirt were stained and dirty, the mattress is cheap and horribly uncomfortable, the headboard circa 1980, cracked peeling faux leather. The shower had absolutely no water pressure and leaked, plumbers tape wrapped around it, the walls are thin enough to hear the people next to you sneeze! The space under the door is at least 2" light, noise, everything comes in. Bad experience, very disappointing. The price for the room is way out of line with the condition of the rooms. Old, dated, not up to the standards I expect from a brand name hotel.

This place is a dump.

Property is super outdated. Especially the rooms on 5th floor. You won’t really notice while in the lobby, but the rugs in the room are old/stained. Enough said.

The place is under construction, so updates are coming during our visit everything in our room was rough. The carpets had huge stains, the bathtub was rusted. We had booked a room for 3 kids and 2 adults and the listing said sleeps 5 but there were just 2 full-sized beds. No crib, no pull-out, no cot. I spoke to reception and the women barely paid attention to my question. There was no one to wait on but me as it was 12:30 am, but she appeared to not care about the missing bed. I only interacted with one other employee who saw me returning a luggage cart and he was super friendly. Maybe it was a bad day for the women at reception.

Stayed here for one night when I was in town for business. The hotel was very clean and modern. The bar/restaurant area looked fun, but I wasn't there long enough to check it out. I would stay here again if I am in the area. Plenty of parking and easy to find.
