Quaint and very quiet, comfortable and excellent breakfast.

A beautiful house in a wonderful location. Very peaceful location. Steve is great and so is his breakfast.

This property is out in the country. The roads leading to it are only one lane, making it impossible for two cars to pass each other. Very stressful driving. The rooms are located upstairs, therefore you have to climb the stairs with your suitcases. The room we stayed in had no shower, just a tub with hand type shower head with no walls or glass to contain the water. The bed was not comfortable at all. You are actually staying in a "house" that has 2 rentable bedrooms upstairs. The hostess will show up in the morning to cook your breakfast. Parking is adequate. Overall cleanliness of the property was very poor. You would do better by spending a little more and going to a hotel. B&B's, especially old properties should be approached with caution. If we ever travel this way again, we will stay in hotels which are geared to modern day travelers.

Lovely old building which has been furnished accordingly with modern touches. Host was lovely and was happy to give us some local information. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. We were happy with our stay. The place itself is a bit out of the way in the countryside, and we almost drove past it as there were a lot of overgrown weeds and grass around the entry point. Parking is available at the front of the stilling.

Host was great and we only saw the host at breakfast where she was very handy with some local knowledge. Breakfast was made exactly how we like it also. The building itself is several hundred years old and has been furnished and decorated accordingly with modern touches. It seems all rooms are on an upper floor which are accessed by stairs. There is no standing shower here. The room was very comfortable and peaceful, so it was possible to have a good nights sleep. Plenty of free parking at the front also.

The Cottage is located at the end of a single track lane in the middle of picturesque farmland with gorgeous views of hillside in all directions. The house is centuries old, but extremely well maintained. Walking through the gardens was a treat for the senses. Breakfast was delicious and filling.
