Best food for dinner that we had for quite a while. Nice service and above all: a great location.

Great location between Sigiriya, Pidurangala rock and Thalkota lake. Owner was very helpful throughout our stay. Owner's name gave us multiple benefits as most locals knew him. Cycles were available (some free, some with additional payment), and having bicycles made our stay more memorable and commuting easier and fun. Breakfast was good and value for money. Easy check-in and check-out. Very flexible and helpful staff.

Location didn't have proper signal connection. Confirm the price upon arrival to avoid any unexpected surprises.

The staff were very informative, it was clean and great location with a view of Lions rock. We also had a free cooking lesson here eating brilliant food. Overall very good stay and exactly what we needed!

Location was very good inside the forest and we have twice spotted elephant crossing on the road in the morning

Toilet is too small

The best thing of our stay was the wonderful manager that took us for an excursion early in the morning. The views from the room are beautiful, it's a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main part of Sigiriya. Comfortable bed.

Some of the facilities could be updated, and we didn't really like the breakfast. But it was a good value for what we payed.

Very clean bedding and towels. Mosquito net and air conditioning gave confidence of sleeping well in the jungle! Lovely attentive staff :)

We appreciated that the owner was very accommodating when we had to change our plans and we arrived at the accommodation two hours after our ETA because of a car accident occurred whilst on our way to Sigiriya from Ella. We also recognized that the owner offered the opportunity of moving from our tree house to the newly renovated luxury tree house when we raised concerns about our initially assigned accommodation. This was offered with no extra charges.

The tree house was full of insects... and very big ones. Probably the biggest bugs we have ever seen in our lives. In addition, when we accessed the bathroom, we noticed that there was a massive ants' nest. They were EVERYWHERE. The bedroom was dirty, including the bed sheets and the pillow cases. There was also a weird smell, like a strong smell of deodorant which was used for the bed sheets. This made us think that the sheets had not been accurately washed before our arrival. There are no words to describe the condition of the bathroom: it took us 5 to 10 minutes only to figure out how to turn the shower on. The toilet was filthy and there were ants everywhere. We do understand that we were staying in a tree house. Nonetheless, we noticed a lack of caring and attention to details, which can make a huge difference for the guests. Similarly, breakfast was not great and we felt there was no love into making it. Roti were cold, as well as crêpes. We did not even finish it. Due to us feeling uncomfortable with sleeping surrounded by insects, we made the decision to move out a day before what we had initially planned. The place itself has good potential, but major renovation and makeover is more than needed to attract tourists.

ما در اتاق ۸ نفره اقامت داشتیم و تازه ساخته شده بود و خیلی تمیز بود. پیشنهاد میکنم اگر به دنبال مکان دنج و خاص و ارزان هستید. We stayed in the room for 8 people and it was newly built and very clean. I recommend it if you are looking for a cozy, special and cheap place.
