Please inform Citilodge Wakefield Hotel by Roomsbooked in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of GBP 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Early check-in (extended to 12:00) or late check-out (extended to 13:00) available for a GBP 15 surcharge but must be booked in advance. Luggage storage is available on site but left at the owners' risk. The hotel does not accept any responsibility of lost or stolen goods whilst on the premises. Please note the lead guest must be 18 years and older.

"Ok but could have been better!"

The location is pretty good although the car parking is a bit of a pain having to find one near by and walking all the way to the hotel and back with all your stuff the cheapest one is £2.50 for 24hrs but its like a 10 minute walk. The room was a really decent size however there was wallpaper ripped off the walls and i asked for a double bed and it was 2 singles pushed together with a double cover and duvet it was quite annoying when you go to rollover and there is a gap down the middle!! If this was the case surely there should have been a double mattress aswell. There was no tv remote in the room which was also a pain having to use the buttons on the side of the tv to switch channels however they did have a fan which was a live saver as the room was quite stuffy!

It's looking a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint and a decent deep clean, but the staff were friendly and the stay was pleasant enough.

Should have signs saying as we have guests kindly have consideration to keeping noise down to the minimum or something to that affect

"Okay... not great"

It was okay, but that was about that. I booked on the same day as arriving, so didn't have much choice in hotels close to the centre- this was one of my only options. I thought it was quite a lot of money for what you actually get- no breakfast was included, no toiletries, very outdated decor, not very clean. I wasn't disappointed because that is what I was expecting, but I would not personally rate this hotel as more than a 2 star, I've stayed in much nicer 3 stars for half the price.
