Sheraton Boston Hotel

Quality of room and overall hotel experience was excellent. From the kindness of the staff to the cleanliness as well as amenities, this hotel had it all. I had an early arrival and the front desk allowed me to check in much earlier than expected and I was given a spacious room on the 26th floor. Room and views were incredible. To top it off location was perfect. 5 min waking to shops, restaurants and Boston Symphony Hall. If and when I return to Boston, I will gladly book this hotel again.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. I booked a standard Queen Room, but upon arrival, I was assigned a handicap-accessible room without any prior notice or consultation. The layout is not what I paid for; the bathroom features a roll-in floor shower with no bathtub, which is not what I expected or wanted for my stay. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk and requested a move to the standard room type I actually reserved, they flatly refused to change my room or offer a solution. It is incredibly frustrating to pay for a specific room category only to be forced into a different configuration and then met with zero flexibility from management. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want to ensure you actually get the room you book. The only options they offered was upgrading a room for extra cost even though the room I booked was not available. This is extremely unacceptable and extremely poor customer service. My wife and I talked to the hotel multiple times and they refused to offer to move us to the proper room.
