I reserved four rooms through hotels.com. When I called the hotel to confirm the reservation of the four rooms (And gave them the confirmation number), they inform me that they only had one room reserved for me and not four. They said they see issues with intermediary booking companies not reserving rooms appropriately. I will never use hotels.com again. Luckily, I was able to get a couple of rooms by calling the front desk.

Room and hotel was clean and comfortable. Beds were very good. The breakfast was not as good as other TownePlace hotels we've stayed, but the lady servicing the area was helpful and pleasant. Outside seating area with fireplace was delightful. There's a nice brew pub across the street with good menu. We would stay here again if the need arises.

Very nice spacious rooms. Friendly staff at check in and mostly clean. Our bathroom could have used a better cleaning but was ok. Area around the hotel not the best but overall a good place to stay.

Pros: Spacious Suite, separate bedroom, nice breakfast with varieties, friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Cons: We were told housekeeping is every other day. We were there 5 nights and requested housekeeping as we didn’t have any clean towels anymore. They informed us they will “Refresh “ the room next day as we were out. Well, I guess we learned the meaning of refresh. They had come and brought new towels and took the garbage (5 min job) . But they still left the dirty towels on the floor, didn’t vacuum and didn’t touch or clean anything else. There was 1-2 dogs barking until 10 pm even after we informed the front desk. Perhaps, they can refuse to have pets or place them in a separate pet wing. I tried to stop by at front desk as I was leaving to hand them the keys and give them an opportunity to explain the meaning of “refresh” the room and housekeeping every other day! We never had a housekeeping for our entire stay! But there wasn’t anyone at the front desk for 5-10 min. Finally, someone from cafeteria came and we handed her the keys to make sure they are not lost.

Here for baseball tournament. Pros: Nice location in terms of walking to coffee/breakfast at Charlotte’s and brewery options across street for our team. Rooms was clean. Cons: The early AM train noises are loud, as others have indicated. Most disappointing was the fact that we booked/confirmed a 2 room suite for our family and upon walking into our room realized the changed us to a one queen bed standard room without even telling us at check in. When we called down we were told they needed the room for another guest and had no other room.

Breakfast was not great

We were in town for a wedding and hoped for early check-in. They did not allow early check-in. This is understandable BUT check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 & they didn’t allow us to check-in until 4:00. The room was very small. The dishwasher had dirty dishes from the last people! Didn’t realize this until we wanted to make coffee in the morning and they were dirty in the dishwasher! Ick! Went downstairs to get coffee, BUT they were out and never refilled! Eek! I guess I expected much better for the price we paid.

Nice and clean hotel. Serves the purpose of spending a night.

Location near railroad tracks and the noise coming from train whistle.
