TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dubuque Downtown

Sadie was the breakfast host when my dad and I were here and she was an absolute sweetheart. Very friendly and considerate! Room was spacious, clean, and smelled good. Beds were very comfortable, I slept like a rock. Our room had a kitchenette as well that my dad was very impressed by.

Disgusting breakfast area. The front desk staff was wonderful, but the breakfast staff was worthless.

The front desk staff was wonderful, but the gal taking care of the breakfast area was worthless. It was so disgusting in the area. Food all over, she was never cleaning or wiping up or even refilling the food or coffee. It was definitely not up to Marriot standards

Could not check in til almost 5pm . We waited in the lobby for 40 minutes while our room was cleaned. Front desk clerk said they were understaffed. That unfortunately is not the customers problem. Then when we checked in an hour later nothing was offered for the inconvenience. Room was not vacuumed, toenail clippings were on the carpet and there were no garbage bags in the cans. Also the heat had to be turned up to almost 76 to be warm and then went back down to 67 when we left each day to go out so it was freezing when we came back. The room itself was very nice but I would not come back if the service did not improve. We like the suite with the full kitchen so we can eat in if we choose. Sorry to be negative but I hope it helps improve so we could stay again. Thank you

Person at the desk was very knowlegble, nice with checking us in. Questions were answered with a smile. Room cleaning person was very helpful with a smile.

Very nice, like new condition. Will stay again!

Nice hotel with brewery next door

Did not get the room we reserved, we're not told of any changes to our reservation until after we were there in the wrong room and then where told that we got downgraded due to some one else that stayed there more often w egg l wanted our room. If i wanted to pay that much for a rebuke hotel room i would have got a room at different hotel

Great breakfast. Lots of options. Nice gym. Really well -located.
