Great hotel and convenient to Harvard

Convenient and quiet

Not pleased with this Bonvoy property, of which I’ve have had the opportunity of staying at before a couple of times. It was a rather expensive room for an upscale motel. Even though it’s undergone renovations it’s been “DOGE’d” since my last visit over 12 years ago. No room service, pathetically flimsy disposable cups for glassware, two gym-type bath towels, etc. besmirch their rating in my opinion. I almost forgot to mention a few of the tiny elevators were down for a few hours on a Saturday morning. It was bummer for my festive trip.

Courteous staff, nice restaurant, comfortable room and location allowed us to walk everywhere in Harvard Square.

I stayed here for 4 months while I attended a course at Harvard. It was convenient for that reason. The room is spacious, though there were building works going on and the room I was in was definitely in need of an uplift. There are lovely big windows and although the view was over rooftops, it was better than no view I guess. The desk was fantastic for a business stay though the TV was small for the room and amenities were also just ok. The staff were very helpful and held some packages for me. They were always responsive and courteous so it’s a plus for the front office staff. The female chef at the breakfast buffet was surly having to make me an omelette (ha ha) but I otherwise had some ok breakfasts at the hotel. Overall, it was a pretty good stay. I appreciate the hotel’s location and staff. It should be much better once all rooms are refurbished.
