Overall good BUT thin walls that could use sound proofing....was woken up at 5:30 am by person in next room just talking on his phone for 30 minutes. If you like hearing what your neighbor is up to stay here😜

The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The fire pit outside in the evening was a nice touch. Beds were super comfortable.

The room was decorated very nice and the staff extremely helpful. However there are a few things that could use some attention. (1) the shower floor is extremely slippery. I almost lost it and hit the glass door. (2) the pillows were smelly and must have plastic that make you sweat. (3) The walls must not be insulated because I could here conversations in the next room very clearly.

Best hotel and experience we've ever had right here in our own town. Incredible amenities and the hospitality is unmatched. We'll be returning regularly.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Compass Rose Lodge! It is incredibly clean and nice. The young man that checked us in could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Huntsville is such a beautiful town with so many recreational opportunities and the location of the lodge across from the beautiful park and town square was ideal for our family. We would love to stay again soon!

The hotel was pristine and comfortable. The breakfast menu was varied and healthy. They also had a fantastic coffee shop open until 5pm. The proprietors were easily reachable and friendly. They host a reception in the evenings so you can mingle with other guests and staff. We went up to the observatory and got a whole tour of the Huntsville night sky. The beds were extremely comfortable, high quality linens, expertly decorated space. We loved every bit.

I would recommend the hotel getting a hot tub. Also the free breakfast was gross. I know the hotel owner and blue coyote owner are related and they should make a deal to where hotel guests get the blue coyote buffet free. Because honestly that buffet that I paid for wasn’t worth the money. Cute and clean hotel. Boring without pool or hot tub.

Practically brand new facility with very pleasant staff. Really delightful to spend a night there. Lots of modern vintage farmhouse type decor in a brand new feeling faculty. I would have liked to see a coffee pot in the room for early morning rising but they operate a very nice coffee shop downstairs with guests being offered a free cup of coffee. Perhaps they could offer an option - and maybe they do but I didn’t see it- of being able to order an early am delivery to the room of your morning’s first beverage. i have already recommended this wonderful lodge to my other associates. I would most definitely come back again.
