Compass Rose Lodge

This is a great hotel for a ski trip to Snowbasin. Very cool design and great amenities. Recommend an observatory tour and the food in the cafe. Great all around.

The Compass Rose has been one of my favorite stays ever, and I travel a lot. The beds were so comfortable and their bunk room was such an extraordinary offering for my family. The decor was beautiful and the staff was incredible. We were so touched by all the attention to details regarding the hotel itself and our stay.

This property is charming and unique. The live music, with food trucks and an outdoor fire on Sat night was great. Small complaints are the broken elevator and broken decaf coffee bean grinder in the coffee shop. Potential guests may want to know the rooms are small with little storage and there is no in-room coffee. There is a refrigerator. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance.

A wonderful stay at Compass Rose Lodge. Perfectly situated between Powder Mountain and Snow Basin for a ski trip. We also enjoyed the Aprés Ski at the Lodge on Saturday with live music and food trucks. What a great surprise!

Such a great little hotel- super stylish and clean! Love the feature of the telescope viewing under the clear, dark skies

The property was pleasant and quiet. The “breakfast” was junk food in a brown paper bag. The coffee shop has nothing that is not junk food. That was disappointing since nothing else was available on site or nearby for breakfast, not even an apple or an orange. The scent of Febreze filled the reception area, which doesn’t seem to fit with an eco conscious property.
