Sheraton Kauai Resort Villas

Our room was $1,080 per night for a suite with an ocean view. One expects for this price things like cutlery instead of stir sticks. I'm not asking for a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates, which is normal in this price range, but not even a spoon? The coffee was not good. No microwave. No wine glasses. Neither the bathroom scale nor the flashlight worked. We went to their luau. While the fire dancers were good, the first thing we put in our mouth was meat so salty we could not eat it. It was the first luau we ever attended in an uncovered area. When it rained, my wife and friends left (but most people didn't), and my friends were angry the hotel had not canceled the luau and returned our money. The band was on one side of the audience but the speakers were on the opposite side, which was confusing and very unnatural. The MC talked too much, and said a couple of historical inaccuracies. Of the three previous luaus we'd attended, none had us sitting too far from the show. This one did. Our friends were at the hotel to attend a sales pitch for some kind of vacation property sales. They laughed at the notion their room would convince them to buy anything.

The one bedroom villa was gorgeous and so well equipped. We loved having laundry machines of our own. The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent and the staff , without exception, was so helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated the services of Tanya, the concierge, who arranged a lovely boat cruise for us. For two of our six days, we rented poolside bungalows. Although they were very expensive, we loved spending the day there!

There should be more drawers to store clothing. Almost none of the chaise lounges by the pool have umbrellas for shade/sun protection. As a three time skin cancer patient, I was almost forced to rent the bungalows so that I could limit my sun exposure and still enjoy the outdoors.

My room with garden views , free parking walking distance to beach . Lava restaurant . Joshua who check us in was very professional. Housekeeping cleans our room everyday and delivers requested item promptly

More elevators and more jacuzzi near the buildings

We chose to stay in the Villas so that we would have a kitchenette. Our room was perfect - the kitchenette was stocked with all the needed dishes, silverware and appliances. We also had a washer and dryer! The property is very clean and beautifully maintained. The concierge was very helpful and pointed us to some great restaurants and fun activities. The location was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing we did not like.

The Rum Fire restaurant had great service and food.

The room sink was backed up and there was not way to open it. The only restaurant that is open all day has very limited food options and they are not up to par with a 4 start hotel. The hotel staff wanted to charge us $100 for an hour of late checkout, something that is complementary at every decent hotel. Beach seating is $95 per day
