Been many times, never let’s us down

Located in the centre of Grasmere village . Good quality bed and bedding. Room was spotless and was quiet and warm. Off road parking.Friendly helpful staff.

Bedroom furniture old and no longer fit for purpose. No sitting room for relaxation. The dining room was available but only limited number of armchairs so often full. Breakfast was unusual. We were offered sausages and scrambled eggs as the hot option. Then there were cold hard boiled eggs( peeled and halved) tomatoes, a selection of cheese offered as small cubes, cold ham, cereals, home cooked bread, jams and marmalades. Bacon, fried or poached eggs and hash browns would be a welcome addition.

Breakfast superb. Great bathroom & lovely towels. Hosts very very nice.

Managed to park ok as got there early, but could be a bit tight if arriving later in day.

The bed was beautiful and v comfy. Its very high so some might need a step to get on to it. Staff were so friendly and it was the perfect location in the centre of the village. Provided gluten free food which was tasty too.
