We had a great stay in the Mellow Yellow room. It was upgraded to us by Rick. Rick was fantastic. What they are doing with the property is fantastic.

In the last 6 months I have booked here over 13 times and loved it. However my last visit was different. I became "buddies" with the spa's owner - Rick. There was a bunch of younger women there (21-23) and Rick became insanely jealous of me and my innocent conversations with the guests. After a few furious remarks, he told me he would ban me if I continued to "flirt" with them. I taught them yoga, we discussed spirituality and were just having friendly conversation. This is not a stand alone incident. Since I've been there so Much I recognized a pattern

Very relaxing place...comes alive at night. Some rooms are more modernized than others but with the pools available I spent time inside the room only sleeping. Common kitchen area is nicely updated.

This place is absolutely cool, it's adults only the pool is open 24 hours a day. The water is absolutely awesome. The owner of the place however is a total creep. If you are a young lady in your twenties he is all over you. I watched him on two different occasions hitting on groups of young women. I watched him bring them alcohol and sit and drink with them. He keeps the music on so loud you can't even hear yourself think all day , I asked him to turn the music down in the evening and he told me no because it was part of the hotel. And he walks around this place all day which makes it very uncomfortable and strange. He lives on the property in the first room, which I saw him bring a girl into which I also thought was strange. I also witnessed him yell at one of the patrons. The guy needs to not be here or he's going to ruin this place which is a shame because it's absolutely cool.

This place is disgusting, not at all as shown or described. We left immediately upon arrival. They should close this place down. Its basically a trailer park with a pool.

We needed to get outta the house after 3 months of quarantine, so we took the 45 minute drive from our house to DHS for a quick, safe, socially distanced getaway. We also wanted someplace with a way to make/bring our own food, with a mineral water pool that allowed pets, so the O Spa fit that bill. The exterior of the O Spa has been thoughtfully updated with cabanas, lots of covered seating areas, fire pit, etc..The mineral water pool and whirlpool are wonderful. Well landscaped, and a pleasant place to relax. Its 420 friendly, and that, plus the friendly innkeeper and other guests make for a mellow vibe. They also have indoor communal kitchen with fresh morning coffee and a tv viewing area (no tv's in the rooms). There are also 2 outdoor gas grills and large tables where you can eat. On the other hand, our small room, considered 'better' on their website, was not in great shape. It was pretty run down (peeling paint, etc) and no hot water for showers no matter what time of day. Based on other reviews, maybe the other rooms were in better shape? It did have a small kitchen area with a sink, refer and microwave so that food could be brought in. The clientele skews younger, so the loud music at the pool that went on until after midnight was somewhat annoying. All in all, the pool time made it an ok getaway and our little dog had a fun time. I think its should be rated a '3', my boyfriend thinks its a '4'.... So, I think we will keep looking for a safe place to vacation locally.

Amazing! Just a perfect get away. We can not wait to go back. Bring your food and snacks, makes it easier && you really do not want to leave the spot once you’re there!
