Great spot to relax, soak and get away from it all

Wow. This is a hidden gem. The owner had been renovating this property for almost a year. It’s awesome. 14 rooms, 3 mineral pools, 4 soaking pools-wow. Plus there is a communal kitchen and lounge to use too. The rooms are all themed and redone. Expedia room names are wrong-so check the actual website. We stayed in the David Bowie room. It even had a disco ball!! We enjoyed relaxing in the mineral pools. My fav was sitting in a pool at but, watching the stars.

Loved this place for how laid back and friendly it was. Would highly recommend it for the right type of traveller. Not for everyone, but most definitely for us, our friends, and dog and hot spring lovers.

We would love to return to The O Spa on a day with less wind. We just happened to arrive on one of the most blustery and chilly days so our stay wasn't all that we had planned. We were fatigued and the idea of an outdoor soak in hot springs seemed just what the doctor ordered but was less than ideal because of the weather. Nevertheless, the warm welcome from Rick could not have been sweeter as he showed us first timers all around the property and introduced us to each soaking spot along with its benefits and temperatures. As we drove through Palm Desert for the first time, it seemed a town on the decline and we questioned Waze as we arrived at our destination on a large boulevard in a mainly residential area. The appearance from outside belies the lovely world inside. We stayed in the Audrey room which was small but well-appointed. For activities other than sleeping, the general living areas were expansive and utilitarian; purchase Italian pasta and sauce from the "honor bar" to cook a meal if you want, watch big screen TV, just relax on plush sofas or just enjoy an order from their cannabis bar and chill. There really is something for everyone at this resort getaway just 20 minutes from the more popular Palm Springs. And don't miss Casablanca Mexican Restaurant, an easy walk (much easier without tornado winds!), and don't miss the $3.99 margaritas on happy hour. Even though we were headed to Mexico, we loved every bite!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Rick the owner is a very welcoming host. The vibe and ambiance was really relaxing and the other guests were very friendly and talkative - met a number of regulars and I suspect I'll become a familiar face here in the future! The shared amenities were top notch and the grounds were very well kept!

My husband I went for 2 nights over the weekend. It was lively with diverse music, laughter and dogs. It’s a communal space so be prepared to meet other like minded people that are there for the same reason you are ~ to unwind and have some fun ~ we still were able to have our privacy and enjoy the property alone. This is because amenities are 24 hours. We went to the hot spring pool around midnight and had it to ourselves. I’d recommend packing extra ice (the ice maker is small) and bring all the drinks and snacks you’ll desire. That way you don’t have to worry about leaving. We enjoyed the vibe and space. We will go back in the near future.

Super cool, clean, beautifully lit, unique place. wonderful pool, hot tubs, common room, outdoor areas and colorful rooms. Nice staff too!

This place is like an oasis in the midst of the desert. As I entered the Spa I felt immediately that I was in a very special place. Thankyou for the hospitality absolutely outstanding.

I had a great stay at o spa. The mineral pools were divine. The grounds are well kept & the owner was great. I loved that I could bring my small dog with me too.

Beautiful chill mineral pools, what a needed break ! Our room had a nice little kitchenette. Clean room and pools and great little common Rec room area. Wifi was spotty , wouldn’t be a big deal but was also trying to work :). Our room had no tv, kind of surprised. Overall a special mineral spa spot!
