Overnight Stays Stockport

Massive room, with everything you could need. Lovely and comfortable and warm.

Said breakfast was provided but that consisted of some fruit, there was a fridge with no milk, or anything, no juice, nothing for toast, just a couple of pots of porridge. I wasnt too worried but felt a little wrong to describe breakfast bring provided when they were the options. I used this place to attend Stockport Noir. It was miles asay from the location. Not a criticism for the owners, my own fault for not properly checking, but just so others are aware who may wish to do the same.

Location close to Hazel Grove center

The shower's hot water supply does not really work. We had to shower with lukewarm water which is very uncomfortable given the cold weather. The hot water tap in the wash basin was also unstable. The heating in the room was however too warm. The host was rather unhelpful when we complained about the hot water problem via the phone. And the problem was not fixed, even though we have stayed two nights.

Bathroom was OK and clean with a large shower. It was shared but we knew this. Bedding was clean

Very small room. With only 1 towel to start with. Owner asked a long stay guest for an extra towel for us. Unpleasant odour in room. Only 1 small folding chair. Double bed up against the wall. Hard mattress, very uncomfortable. Pillows flat we had to roll dressing gowns up under the pillow for support. Central Heating boiler in the room kept coming on and off through the night. Breakfast was classed as continental, with fruit. It consisted of 2 very small packs of cereal, 2 bread rolls with butter and jam and milk also 2 yoghurts in fridge. No fruit or juice. Kettle jammed in at back of microwave. Scale in the wash basin. We only paid £61 for the 1 night but it wasn't even worth that.

Clean, warm, and had everything we needed. Welcome call talked us into the accommodation and made us aware of parking and all the facilities.

Parking restriction signs on the street were not clear / easy to see in the dark. But this is not due to the property and they talked us through where to park.

It was very close to all amenities Location close to shops and train station. Easy check in Was clean and tidy when I arrived

Absolutely nothing property not fit for accomodations

Arrived to the property stinking of drugs and people arguing and fighting in one of the rooms. Place is like a drugs den. Immediately left and had to make alternative arrangements and owner is refusing a refund.
