DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans Airport

We stayed here for 4 nights for a family reunion last week. Pros: A great buffet breakfast. Good food in the restaurant on site. An airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. Friendly staff. Full bar on site. Extremely clean rooms and grounds. Yummy cookies!!! Cons: Small bathrooms (fully functional and clean). Few accessible rooms for the mobility impaired (we were a large party with many elderly people--and this was a problem for a few in our group). A great choice if a need to stay in Kenner or near the airport is needed. Uber is about a $30 fare each way fare to the French Quarter.

Our organization has held conventions at the Kenner DoubleTree for three years in a row. Nikki Dufour, the sales manager has been so helpful as we've planned and carried out these events. She goes above and beyond to be sure that all of our needs are met. The location is very convenient for attendees arriving in New Orleans by air.

Great hotel for meetings! Ashlyn Nedd in sales is exceptional. We just completed our family reunion with 240 people and everything was flawless due to her level of detail.

All in… it wasn’t that bad… but it was just me and they catered to me every need and gave me better advice on how to book. Also in they defense… this hotel has been here long as I can remember… how else would something 42 years ole look.. lol Read the fine print before you reserve. Especially if don’t have a back up

There were no extra linens for the sofa bed, 3 people were booked for the room and there were only 2 towels. Amenities out in bathroom.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff were very helpful, especially regarding the shuttle service to and from the airport. Other hotels can learn from this one: 1) the toilet paper is on a stand alone tree with extra rolls, I cannot tell you how many times the hotel toilet paper holder is broken from low end to five star; 2) air condition that works really well that doesn't sound like a helicopter taking off.

Great service from the Bar tender Suzie. She will treat you right and great conversation. Front dest is great also for check in they will treat you right.

Nice place. Great staff. Notably the shuttle driver, Anthony is very professional, personable and efficient. A good shuttle driver.

The only reason I stayed here is because the people mover pickup was at the hotel.

It's got a Hilton name but it's a run down overpriced stay. I the way back I booked a great hotel in the French quarter for less than half the price.

Chef Quinton was great. He came out to check on us how our food was . Nice person. The hotel was in great location close to everything and the airport
