The location was prime for going to Pentagon City Mall, that Macy's there is magnificent! The views from our rooms were 1000%! The sunrise , night and day view is just what you need to unwind, pull up a chair and absorb the view of all the monuments!!! Just amazing!! Clean, great cable stations (if you stay in the room long enough). The breakfast buffet, delicious, and the wait staff, stellar! Visiting family in Alexandria, close to where we and they could visit and hang out. Saturday night, family came over after we went out for dinner and watching the NBA final, game 4, played cards in the bar area, great to be able to host in the hotel that night! Our hostess/check in person, Taleicha was absolutely fabulous! She was friendly, informative and helpful! With customer service like that, you want to come back! We have stayed in this hotel from time to time in the last 20 years, (and at other hotels in the area)and have never been disappointed, this is why we always end up coming back here!

Basics: The room itself is good, but way overpriced Spacious and great AC. No microwave. Smart tv but it lags. Wi-fi is spotty. Things that may be of concern for some: Cleanliness, especially the bathroom -sandpaper for toilet paper and extremely scented soaps unusable for people with sensitive skin 2 of our pillows had an extremely foul smell and what looked to be maybe cat hair in my sheet May spot a bug or 3 in the room Restaurant on site serves mediocre food, def not worth the prices Elevators have no certificates of inspection -Elevators to access lobby from on-site parking are not working. Upside to that is the $30 a day fee is waived. Downside is you may have to climb 3 flights which is not ok with health issues/luggage Customer service is terrible!!! The young man who checked us in on Fri 6/2 was friendly and helpful. There was an extra person charge on reservation, which I called about before check in and was told bring up to front desk upon check-in. He heard me but there was no acknowledgment of whether or not it was removed. I was tired and decided I’d acknowledge it again the next day, today. I called front desk at 7:30 pm on Sat. I got the rudest individual on the line. I actually prefaced the call with ‘I hate to bother you with this but I could find no way to inquire on line.’ I think I interrupted his not wanting to do anything time. He found every way to blow it off. So now I’ll be down there tomorrow, Sun, to hopefully deal with a different person. Also, this hotel does not acknowledge members. There was no mention of reward benefits so I’ll deal with that tomorrow as well. To sum it up, the attitude I got, from asking a simple question about billing, would deter me from staying here again, as customer service, when that’s your job as the face of of the hotel, is very important to me. Again, what they charge to stay here is not worth it especially with poor customer service. There are nicer hotels in area at this price.

They put you in room WITHOUT ELEVATOR!! They said that they have shuttle! I waited 1 hour at airport and nothing appeared!!
