Radisson Hotel & Apartments Gdansk

We booked to stay here through booking.com. At the time of booking, it was not clear that we were not in the main hotel, but rather in the apartments round the corner which use to be the Radisson Red. This was not a huge problem as the rooms in the apartment block were nice enough. The room was nice and clean, the bed was very comfy and the location could not have been better. The view we had was a joy to wake up to. However, what they don't make clear, and what we weren't told when we checked in, is that those in the apartments do not have free use of the pool and gym facilities; they cost an extra 90zl (roughly £19). You also have to book a time to enter the pool. This lead to a little bit of confusion and disappointment, which was thankfully sorted by a kind member of staff. The pool and it's facilities were ok, but are not worth the 90zl in my opinion! The lifeguard/pool monitor was USELESS and downright irresponsible. He was sitting watching TV on his phone with an ear pod in!! I understand that it might not be the most riveting of shifts, however, there were a number of people, including children in this pool - he wouldn't have known if someone was drowning or not! I'm pretty sure being alert is rule 101 of lifeguarding. He was also responsible for operating the pools 'spa' functions from the main master board, which was hit or miss if he did because he wasn't paying attention. At one point we actually had to whistle because shouting hello from the hot tub to get him to put the bubbles back on wasn't working. The rest of the facilities were clean enough, however, I'm not sure how often it was serviced because the female toilets were out of loo roll when I first went in. When we left almost 2hours later it was still empty as was the hand towels which people had clearly used in desperation.

We recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a great location with a stunning view of the river, and it is very close to the riverside and the old town. There’s a bar outside the hotel and a pleasant riverside walking path next to it. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel also features a swimming pool, sauna, and spa. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. Thank you for the excellent service!

Entrance is a bit forbidding and uninviting - down a “back road”. We had requested double bed, but given a twin. Mattress very firm / hard. AC was not working, but was fixed by engineer after we reported it. No direct access from reception side to riverside and lounge bar - it’s through the dining room, which has entrance control. Reasonable price, good lifts / elevators. An easy, five minute walk, to old town.

What a gem! We had a river view room with a balcony and spa access and it was absolutely amazing. We will be definitely back.

Excellent hotel - perfect location in Gdańsk city. Staff and service at reception and in the restaurant /bar excellent. Hotel room very clean and comfortable. The noise from the street can disturb at night a little but apart from that the hotel is a great place to stay. Easy walking access to old town and restaurants etc.

Nice hotel but had awful service check in throughout. Paid for 7 days breakfast then realised 1hr later only needed 6. Refused to refund. Asked for a teaspoon at breakfast to feed my 1 year old and was told they only have coffee stirrers. Refused to keep our travel buggy in the luggage area for 1hr while at the pool. Door entry to main building from outside was broken majority of the stay. Overall unhelpful staff

Our family had a wonderful stay. Next time, we will book a room with a river view! 😊 All the staff were nice and very helpful, including those at reception, the spa, the restaurant, luggage storage, and the cleaning staff. The spa facilities and breakfast exceeded our expectations.

(this is for the Radisson Red) DO NOT GET THE KITCHENETTE SUITE. While yes it does have one, there's no pans, or even plates. making the room pointless and the amount you pay for it a total rip off.
