Delta Hotels by Marriott Woodbridge

I heard the outside & inside pool was out for couple days. I was looking forward it. Having been in a pool the whole summer.

The location was good for what we were there for.

When we arrived they could not find our reservation. Then once the reservation was found they gave us our room, it was a nice, large corner king room. Upon walking to the elevators to find our room we noticed both pools were closed. Once we started to settle in we realized that the tv was broken, there was no fridge, and the furniture in the room had stains on it. Then, as we were just sitting in the room, maintenance walked in without any warning. They were there to fix the tv, and when we questioned how they knew the tv was broken they said that the room was not supposed to be in use since there were some maintenance issues with the room. We called down to the front desk to ask if we could change rooms since there was no working tv in the room and we were told there was no other rooms for this night. After dinner we returned back to the room with still no working tv and called down for options on what we can do. We were on the phone with a manager now and we were then able to switch rooms at 10:30PM. The new room was much smaller than the original room which was disappointing. We did receive a free breakfast sandwich voucher for the next morning.

This place came highly recommended, but was a bit of a letdown for our visit. Tried to get any hand/wash cloths from housekeeping for 2 days - ended up getting them from a hall cart. A/C would reset to 82F - but did get fixed during our stay. Lounge/bar had no A/C and was quite warm.

Overall it was a good experience. Specially the welcoming note on LED in the room was a great experience. But i would like to suggest that please take more care of bedding (sheets).

Service staff is excellent.

Beware of this filthy hotel. The room was dingy and not properly cleaned-hair all over the bathroom. No one answers the front desk when you call. Tables in the lounge not cleaned-garbage left from the night before and tables dirty in the evening from breakfast. Garbage over flowing and bathrooms in the main hall dirty. Had to ask multiple times to have my room cleaned-when they finally did clean at 5pm there was garbage left in our room. Both pools closed. Would not stay here again.

Our daughter was there for a dance convention. The area we sat in had not been vacuumed. My husband killed a roach on the wall and I had a baby roach crawl on a pizza box I was holding. I dispatched the roach and took it to the front desk check in.
