The overall resort is beautiful. Everything is in walking distance including the Malecon. About 20 minutes. I didn't like the meal schedules though. 630 with children is to late for dinner for us but it may not bother anyone else. It's just something we couldn't navigate the first few days. Can't feed them nuggets and burgers for dinner everyday lol

The Bruce resort was so close to the ocean and when we would sit and eat our meals, we could look out at the ocean. The sunset was just beautiful. The staff was so helpful.

"OK not that great"

Only one elevator was working. The buffet was not that great. I had water coming through the celling in the bathroom. I called front desk 3 times with a promise of someone coming to fix it. No one ever came. I didn't think the staff was very friendly.

The staff were all wonderful and looked after anything we asked for. Little mix up with the room when we first checked in, but it was fixed immediately. The food was good with a lot of variety. We felt very safe and couldn't have asked for a better vacation.
