"Check your water to be safe!!"

3.0

Location was great.

Our stay would have been better if the shower and sink had cold water very inconvenient with a toddler could of burned us with the scolding hot water told staff and they said that we would be compensated for the inconvenience but they never did.

"OVERBOOKED HOTEL BY 65 ROOMS and cancelled all reservations for a wedding without notifying"

2.0

If a zero-star rating were an option, this hotel would unequivocally receive it. Our experience has been nothing short of horrific. Our reservation, secured through a room block on November 3rd, 2025, was abruptly cancelled via email and text on Monday, June 1st, 2026, without any prior communication or explanation. We later discovered that the hotel had severely overbooked, displacing an entire wedding party of 65 rooms and relocating us to a "sister hotel" down the street. Attempts to get clarity from the hotel directly proved futile. Not a single staff member seemed informed about the situation or how it would be resolved, directing us instead to the DoubleTree hotel where we were supposedly transferred. However, upon contacting the DoubleTree, they had no record or information regarding our transfer from the Sheraton. Despite numerous calls and emails to the Sheraton, I have received no satisfactory information regarding this cancellation or how they intend to rectify this catastrophic oversight. I will unequivocally state that I will never, under any circumstances, book this hotel again. This level of disorganization and disregard for guest reservations is entirely unacceptable.

"Won't return or recommend!"

4.0

We booked our stay for my cousin's wedding back in December. We wanted to extend our stay so a couple days, by adding an additional day on both sides of the reservation. So, I checked prices ($167/night) and called the hotel directly. I was told that only a manager could help me and was given the email for Kya Gonzalez, Operations Manager. She was able to book the 2 additional nights and assured me that it would be at the rate given online based on the photos I sent at the time. Unfortunately, that was not the case and on my final bill, I was charged $219 a night instead. (I do have the emails and photos to share if needed.) Besides the issue with the price, we had an awful stay.  We checked in late Thursday afternoon, after a long day of travelling. We turned the air conditioning on as we headed to bed. We woke up in the early morning hours, sweating from the heat in the room. We shut the air off in hopes that it would restart but it didn't. When we headed out Friday morning, I asked the front desk if someone could look at it and they said yes. After returning a couple hours later, our room was still very hot. I called down to the front desk and they apologized and said they would send maintenance up but I asked them to wait until we were leaving in about 40 minutes. He came a couple times while we were in the room (we had many people changing, due to their rooms not being accessible, so couldn't let him in) and asked him to return later. When we were leaving, I didn't see him so I asked the front desk to please send him while we were gone. The front desk staff was very nice about it and said that if it wasn't able to be fixed, we would switch room. When we got home later that night, the room was still very hot. At this point, we couldn't change rooms because the systems were down and people checking in could barely do so. All weekend it was like a sauna in our room.  On top of the excessive heat, our water pressure was more like a trickle, we had constant issues connecting to the internet, it was rare to see all the elevators working at the same time, and to top it off there were 2 fire alarms. The front desk staff was truly great and worked very hard for all their customers, even though none of the glitches were their fault, they were definitely on the frontlines. The fact that management didn't send in other workers as back up or even show up themselves to help out in this disaster was truly appalling!  As Marriott members, we have never had such a disastrous stay.

"Response to owner"

2.0

My wife wrote a review under nomad 152 660. The owner response to this review never actually addressed the issue. The complaint was not about the system outage that was unavoidable. It was about the response to the outage and the inability of the hotel to handle the problem. The most concerning issue was not the crisis itself, but the absence of effective management and sufficient staffing during it. A hotel’s true quality is revealed during difficult situations, and the response here showed poor preparation, inadequate leadership, and a disregard for guest experience and safety. The severely limited staff did everything they could at the time, but was so overwhelmed without leadership or guidance. After reading reviews prior to this experience, it seems this hotel has had similar problems without outages.

"Disastrous Checkin"

2.0

Just read the response from the hotel to the parents of the bride and groom this past weekend May 2th. Are you kidding me. It was a fiasco. The computers went down at 10am on Saturday. How come at 3 pm you only had 3 people trying to check in over 100 guest. They were actually taking names on stick um tags. Going into back room coming out over 30 minutes later calling a name then telling them to go up to their room and they would send someone up to open the door. No keys. Oh leave door open when you go to wedding so you can get back into your room after the wedding. What about all your personal items. Laughable. You should have called every Marriot hotel manager from every hotel within a 25 mile radius to get more then 3 people at the desk. Oh then they have the fire evacuation on top of this. People had to use friends rooms to get dressed. To add more fuel to the fire, I called the Hotel up a few days later to see if there was going to be any compensation. I was asked what tier Marriott bonvoy I was. They say they are giving you back Marriott points based on your tier. Really. We all paid the same price for the room. Give me a break. That's discrimination. Marriott better stand by their product and apologize to the parents of bride and groom not give them a bull excuse for their incompetence. To the parents I will say great wedding. We all had a great time.

"Family wedding"

4.0

The Sheraton hotel itself and the rooms are lovely , however , for such a huge hotel hosting conferences and 5 wedding blocks there was such incompetence and the hotel experience for the bride and groom and their guests was horrendous. To start off the bride made sure she had welcome bags for all the guests staying in the hotel with breakfast vouchers. The vouchers were not put into the bags for the guests arriving on Friday and the welcome bags were not handed out . I had to verbally make sure as I saw the guests to tell them to get their welcome bag. Then , they said they ran out of the welcome bags because apparently they gave them to another wedding with our breakfast vouchers in them. Then there was a security issue on Saturday , May 2nd when the majority of the guests arrived and they couldn’t get into their rooms because the keys weren’t working . The shuttle for the wedding was arriving at 4:30 and guests were not into their rooms to get dressed . There was total chaos at that time because they had one person at the desk not explaining to their guests what was happening and kept people waiting after traveling a far distance from New York. In fact , some guest arrived back from the wedding and after party and were still waiting for a room at 1:AM. This created stress for not only the guests but also for the bride and groom were afraid their guests would not make the shuttle and the ceremony. No one seemed to be in charge at the hotel nor were they even apologetic to The guests. The Sheraton should somehow compensate the couple and the guests for causing such an unpleasant experience on a very special Day.

"Strange process"

6.0

The hotel, although remote is clean and staff are helpful. The bar/restaurant closes at midday until 4pm, WHY? NO idea. In the bedroom the AC is very loud and the pressure from the shower is nonexistent.
