Leonardo Hotel Cardiff

Hotel Location is fab, Evening meal was very pleasant. Staff were great. Breakfast was exceptional.

The Curtains in our room were either dirty or stained (Room 212) As there was a small table, Maybe a second chair would have been nice. All the fag butts in the walk way from the car park.

Very difficult to find the parking. The area is unpleasant in the evening.

The big advantage of the hotel is that it's very close to the New Theatre so ideal for staying up after a show. I had a small single room this time which was fine for my needs, with tea and coffee and a clean ensuite with toilet, sink and shower. I used the restaurant and enjoyed a dinner before the show and a good hot breakfast in the morning.

Checkout time was 11am so I was slightly shocked in the morning at 9.45am when someone came in to clean the room. Also when I attempted to use the online checkout this appeared to have already been done.

Good position

The air conditioning kept turning off during the night so kept waking up and turning it back on. Even after complaining the next night was the same.

Location, room itself, very comfy bed, carpark, all good and staff very friendly and helpful

noise in room - the floorboards were so noisy the room above us were active until the early hours of the morning and we could not sleep and we could here voices also from other rooms
