Loved the mid century modern design and decor! Very close to downtown activities.

Strong air freshener in hallways but fortunately not in the room

Rooms are great, once you are in. The whole unpersonalized access systems is terrible though. Especially after traveling a long day with heavy suitcases having to walk around scanning QR codes, waiting to be called back (+15 minutes!) is just not up to standards. Keypads with unreadable numbers, etc I understand you want to try your costs of employment low, but for the hotel you try to be, well, actually for every hotel this is not up to standard.

Location excellent - could walk to most things

The metal bed frame at the foot is a hazard. The sharp corners can cause injury. I banged into the corner and had big bruise and broke skin. Perhaps a rubber bumper should cover the sharp corners.

We love the rooms and the location

Nothing bad to say about it.

Someone tried to enter my unit at 1:30am. They were able to unlock the deadbolt and thankfully the internal lock prevented the door from being opened. I had to call the main Mint House number and wait for someone to answer for several minutes while wondering what was going on and being incredibly scared. Eventually I talked to someone who told me it was someone who was also assigned to that unit somehow. The fact that they were able to unlock the deadbolt was ridiculous. I didn't sleep the rest of the night. On top of all of this the apartment was generally dirty with cobwebs and junk on the floor in the corner. The apartment also never cooled beyond 75 degrees. Apparently, the thermostat was just for show.

The location was perfect, & it was pretty cool seeing some of the items from old bank incorporated into the design.
