Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa

Stayed here for several nights and we would never return. As our Uber drove up to the hotel, there was a huge backup of cars and it took almost 25 minutes to get to the hotel and get our bags unloaded. The frustration continued as we waited another 20 minutes to check in. No one directed us to our room or helped with the bags. The room itself was ok but it overlooked the pool and we were subjected to screaming kids everyday until around 730pm. The coffee shop was supposed to open at 6am but employees didn’t show up until around 610am and then made everyone wait while they set up. We then waited 45 minutes for a table at Swan Court for breakfast. The food was way below average with burnt greasy bacon and cold eggs…. Had dinner at Japengo which made us sick. Avoid this place!!

From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The accommodations, amenities, and overall attention to detail all exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect setting for a special event, and we left with wonderful memories. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a first-class resort experience. We also deeply appreciated the room upgrade and the thoughtful amenity for my daughter birthday and graduation — those touches made our stay feel special and we would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Maui.

Almost nothing

absurd situation at breakfast, the line of guests stretches for tens of meters. it is not possible to experience something like that in any hotel, even a much lower category, let alone in a hotel with a reputation like the Hyatt. in addition, it is the only hotel among many that does not have a beach. the hotel is almost avoidable.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, das Personal super nett und alles sehr sauber. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wenn man mal was anderes machen will wie sich im Hotel aufzuhalten, ist nicht viel in der Nähe wo man Fußläufig erreichen kann.

It’s a lovely location on the beach with great views and some very good swimming pools etc You can walk along the resort to other hotels and shops

Quite small bathtubs. Standing in line every morning to get seated for breakfast. Food poolside not great. It might be me but having been here 38 years ago I rated it my number 1 hotel in the world. So in a way a bit disappointed we cut short our trip but maybe driven by my expectation rather than its current offering.
