The neighborhood was quiet, but there were a few good restaurants, a big shopping center, and the central train station all under 15 min walk. The room had all facilities, even laundry. The tatami mats were great for our 1 year old to crawl around the whole apartmetn and burn off energy in between long times in the stroller during sightseeing. Shower was also very nice, with good pressure and steady temperature.

Beware: the futon mattresses were very thin. It will depend a lot on person to person how comfortable you will be. My wife slept surprisingly well, but I could only sleep if was perfectly positioned on my back and still woke up as if I had spent the whole night balanced on my shoulder blades and tailbone.

It is one big room that suit for couple , or friend traveling . The staff is very kind and helpful for suggestion about neighbor. From the Kyoto station , you just walk for 900 meter to the stay .

you need to walk for public transport , especially subway , if you want to go for sight seeing around Kyoto. And it is less supermarket nearby.

We enjoyed our stay here in a clean space with good facilities.

The location was a quiet but a little far from the station for us as a family with the Kyoto heat.

The accommodation is worth the money. So comfortable and very big for 4 adults 1 baby

Walking distance from the Kyoto station. Quiet area. Hosts responded quickly to our requests. Room was very comfortable for three people, and would also suit a family. Everything was very clean. Futon beds were comfortable. Kitchen has a few implements, but it is not a full kitchen for cooking.

Room did not initially come with sheets for the futon mattresses. They did bring us some very quickly when we requested them. Host mentioned that this is the normal way Japanese use the futon. It's important to remember that how a bed is set up for your own house is not the same as how you would set it up for rental accommodation when many people are sleeping on a bed that is not washed. Location wise, I'd probably stay north of Kyoto station next time. Stairs were very small, would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues.

Close to the station. Staff are attentive and responsive. Cleaned the appointment mid stay with prompt notice. Shower had great pressure. Towels were provided. Western toilet with bidet.

Excellent location, we were able to walk from the shinkansen at Kyoto station and Kyoto station also has buses direct to all the airports. Quiet, suburban area and a well-laid out flat with all required facilities. We had access to our own washing machine and drying racks outside. Spacious wardrobe and bathroom / toilet were also separate rooms.

You are asked to sort your own rubbish, but there is no guidance. We were not totally sure what was burnable / non-burnable.

The apartment is very large. As we stayed only 1 night, we did not use all commodities. You can leave your luggage after checkout if needed. Staff is very helpful. It is a 15 minutes walk from Kyoto station.
