Really clean. Staff lovely and easy to communicate with. Can't beat it for proximity to JR Kyoto Station and price

I think this was a fabulous place to stay in Kyoto. Shinobu-san met us at the property very quickly and let us check-in when we arrived. She explained everything very well and was easy to work with. I had forgotten an important personal item at a different location during my travels, and it was easy to coordinate with Shinobu-san to ensure an easy delivery. She lso let us borrow bikes, which made for easy and fun travel around the city. The location is very quiet neighborhood, but it is still a quick walk from Kyoto Station, and there are a few restaurants and convenience stores in nearby walking distance.

bedroom is clean and comfortable.

stairs are too narrow and small.

It was clean and cosy..

It's a bit small, so not great for more than 2 people.

Great accommodation with convenient store, bus stop and train station within 5 to 10 mins reach.

I wonder why at 4:30am got someone opened our room door. Luckily got the door lock, i was awake that time due to going to washroom and got shocked with it. Hopefully landlord can explain about it.,

Helpful staff who is very responsive to my questions and needs. Location is near Kyoto station but quiet.
