Hyatt Regency Savannah

I love the property. I felt safe on the property. Every worker was friendly and greeted us with a smile. The room was so cleaned. For breakfast, it was a huge selection to choose from. It’s worth the stay. The most amazing part of our stay is watching the cargo ship sailing by. It’s so amazing to watch.

Did not have it

Extremely dirty, shabby, and disappointing stay. Not to mention the additional $300 in charges at the end of our 3 day stay making it a $500+ nightly hotel. For mildew , hard uncomfortable beds, and staff that didn't care about us at all? No thanks

Able to walk straight from the hotel to the river street, everyone on staff was friendly and helpful

There was nothing wrong with the stay.

The location was perfect!

We did NOT get the room we paid for in advance. Had to settle for a room without a balcony and double beds.

I didn't really like much other than the location and the breakfast, which was not bad.

We were given a disability access suite, whose bathroom felt medical with all the handles and which became very wet due to the lack of a proper ledge. The suite was pretty tired and not clean. Many of the fabric surfaces were stained (carpet, sofa), there were some French fries on the floor than remained there even after housekeeping cleaned the room. Overall, not what I'd expect considering the hotel isn't cheap.

Awesome location. And the bones of this property are great. It may have once been a wonderful property. However the hotel is in need of significant maintenance and upgrade. At least our room was. The shower leaked heavily onto the bathroom floor, and apparently it has been that way for a while as baseboard tiles were falling off. Our bath towels were old and stiff having lost any softness they may have once had. Returning to the room after a full day out, in need of showers to make a dinner reservation, our room was not cleaned and we had no fresh towels as we had to use them in he morning to mop up the bathroom floor. We love the Hyatt loyalty program and use it exclusively as it seems to be the best value in the industry, but when in Savannah again we will not stay here.

First time staying at a Hyatt hotel and the lobby was breathtaking. Beautiful elegant with a friendly atmosphere.

There was a miscommunication with a valet member. We were told our vehicle was coming around, we wairted and waited to be told by a 3rd valet member that we had to go to P3 to get the truck. Like why wasn’t that communicated and because of that miscommunication we were rushed trying to meet a reservation we had at a restaurant. Then our debit card was charged $130 for parking, that was definitely not explained during check in.
