Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago

I have spent 2 work weeks at this hotel so far and I think this is one of the best business hotels I have ever stayed at. I actually don't understand why it is just a category 1 property. The location is excellent, close to O'Hare, across from a mall and surrounded by restaurants. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 2-mile distance. The lobby is spacious and welcoming, it also has an on site Starbucks, restaurant/bar, decent size pool, although I wish their gym is bigger. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I do want to mention their staff, Raul at the front desk, the shuttle bus driver (sorry I did not get the name), the restaurant staff at breakfast - Cristina, Floiberto, Bashkim, who were always friendly, efficient and truly make the hotel feel like home to me. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great location close to the mall and many restaurants. Updated and super clean bathrooms. Most comfortable down pillows.

Hotel looks nice in appearance but rooms are very poor in decor as well as cleanliness. The only window in our room overlooked the lobby. The give you a list of rules when you check in which is really appalling.

I had a quick stay with two young kids. The staff members, from the front desk agent to the breakfast crew, were super friendly. The hotel is very close to the Woodfield mall and has tons of good places nearby for dinner. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

The staff is friendly but the place needs an upgrade and new stuff. Sheets and towels were stained, I could tell they had been washed but still stained so needed to be trashed. My toilet seat was old and stained. Doing my bed bug check, no bed bugs but so many blood stains on the mattress. I didn’t sleep well because I was so grossed out. Somebody needs to be on quality control and throwing out badly stained stuff. That mattress should be first!

Upon check in we were given a dirty room. It’s a good walk from the desk up to you room, then to have to come back down after a long travel was upsetting. However they fixed the situation quickly and I would stay here again.

Nice staff, pleasant attitude. When we checked in, Austin at the front was very helpful and gave us dining suggestions in the area. Interacted with housekeeping, requesting towels; also happy to assist. Employees at the onsite Starbucks were also very easy to work with. Big hotel. Lots of lobby space. Lots of free parking in back of hotel. Room booked was 2 full beds. I booked it so long ago the only reason I could think of getting two beds was because it was probably cheaper than the
