Kawan Antique Ubud Villa

property is very nice

location... very small roads... grab or gojek dont accept to come... no street lights.... no one there in reception after 8 pm... so its very difficult to get help after 8pm only 2 villas... feels like staying alone...

The location of the Villa is a bit out of the main part of Ubud and required driving through a very narrow and steep street. Many taxis refused to drive down the street forcing us to walk.

The TV was not working

Beautiful accommodation, great service! The pool and the garden were amazing. Exceptional breakfast. Very good additional services: food delivery, massage, floating breakfast, shuttle service.

a little complicated to get there. the doors decorations are very low, so they become a potential hazard for tall persons

Environment was fantastic, staff were friendly. We only stayed one night due to the cost but would have liked to stay longer if it was slightly cheaper, maybe three nights. The pool was lovely and the villa was very comfy.

How to access the site took a bit of effort as it was not clear how to get to reception or the villa, it took about ten minutes to figure it out but we got there in the end :)

Extremely nice host and staff

The villa had a rustic and outdoor vibe, which was very peaceful and unique. The pool was well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful, offering to carry luggage and book us a grab. They had even found my girlfriends bracelet and arranged to courier it back to us in Denpasar so amazing service by the staff. The garden and generally aesthetic of the Vila is beautiful and very instagram-able.

The location is far from the Ubud City centre (my fault for not checking that it was that far), so anytime you wanted to go checkout the cafes and restaurants, you needed to get a Grab usually 10 to 15mins by bike. * though this might be what some people are looking for. The road leading to the Vila is super tight and unsealed. It was difficult for cars to get to the vila easily. The vila doors are not properly sealed. There are gaps in the doors where insects, particularly mosquitoes, were getting in at night. As well the bathroom is outdoors, and there tends to be insects hiding out there during the rain. I got a nice surprise in the morning after a heavy rain storm to find a spider hiding in the toilet bowl.
