InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco by IHG

We booked, AGAIN, one of the most expensive suites in the hotel. It had no refrigerator, no coffee maker, nor mini-bar. It was like a Travel Lodge at $1,000 a night. There is something wrong with management at Intercontinental.

This hotel is lovely. It is comfortable, and in a great location. All staff is super professional, they help me with all my needs. Delicious breakfast, good fitness room, comfortable bed- I will, definitely, come back

I chose this hotel among the IHG properties in San Francisco expecting the InterContinental standard and service. I have stayed with and worked for InterContinental before, so I am familiar with the level of quality the brand represents. While the building has a classic charm, the overall experience does not reflect InterContinental standards. The service felt no different from a Holiday Inn, which was very disappointing given the brand. The room condition is tired and lacks basic amenities. There were no slippers, and only one low-quality bathrobe was provided despite the reservation being for two guests. These are simple details that should be consistent across the brand. Unfortunately, this is the worst InterContinental stay I have experienced. I booked for three nights and this is only my first day. It is quite disappointing to realise I still have two more nights to go. I hope the hotel can review its standards to better align with what InterContinental guests expect.

We booked a suite to celebrate a birthday. Great hotel and nice comfort level. Staff was accommodating of check-in time.

Breakfast included was a bit disappointing for the caliber of this hotel. Suíte furniture is quite outdated, ice machine did not work on our floor.

So fun to stay at the Mark Hopkins at Christmas time. We went to the top of the Mark in the evening.

I don't appreciate a $35 nightly fee fraudulently labelled as "Nob Hill Destination Fee". This is not a tax. This is not added by the City of San Francisco. This is a amenity fee to use WiFi, nothing more. It's blatantly dishonest.

Avoid this is a dump. Nice location. This is not even a two star hotel. No service. Nothing in the room. My sink didn’t even work.

Very long lines in lobby for anything. Old, tired rooms. Freezing lobby.

I felt like the fact that the bathrooms didn't have cotton balls or q-tips or very basic things Made the hotel look cheap. Or like downstairs there's only regular coffee - no decaf or hot water with tea. Things like this just erode the high standing of this establishment

Decent view. They said Corner room, and it technically had two windows facing different directions. Good bed. Good water pressure in shower.

NO COFFEE IN ROOM! Chunks in sink that looked like goop that couldn't be removed. Sink faucet turned backwards. Sink faucet had very low water pressure. No fan in bathroom. Toilets didn't flush from rim, requiring numerous flushes and addition of water to get everything, including TP, out. Remote control was dodgy and there were no premium channels.
