North Charleston Marriott

We recently stayed at the hotel and our flight out was delayed over 6hrs. After contacting the hotel we asked for our original room and check out later. The manager, Daniel, was so accommodating and helpful. He was a true professional!! Marriott has an excellent manager!! Thank you again Daniel!

The mattress seats low and was uncomfortable

A fail across the board. They said that they ran out of water bottles even though you could see plenty of water bottles in locked glass conference rooms. I dont mind drinking tap water but I need a glass or cup to put it in- there were none. I called the desk and they just hung up on me. The water / ice systems were either out or broken . Housekeeping ignored me even though I was out for 8 hours then did not leave coffee pods so I had to go down and pick them up. Front desk service just did not care. AC has issues so REALLY do not want to stay here in the Summer.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, Ms. Cheryl greeted us and made us feel “at home.” The rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious! We will definitely stay here again!

Mixed review. The hotel staff was great, and special shout out to the staff taking care of the M Club because they were amazing. While the hotel was clean it shows a lot of signs of wear and tear. Patio furniture outside had holes and tears in the cushions, there were tables with water damage, M Club had same issues with the furniture. Food was good and reasonably priced. Cleaning staff did well our first few days but last couple of days there were misses with room cleaning and re-supplying.

Not Again – Disappointed and Disrespected As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member, I’ve come to expect a certain level of recognition and service; this property delivered neither. From the moment we checked in, the experience was underwhelming. I was told we received an upgrade, only after I asked, but it turned out to be a standard King room. When I followed up, I was informed we were actually “upgraded” to a concierge room. I asked what that meant, and the front desk associate blankly responded, “Nothing.” She was right. As a Lifetime Platinum Elite, I already have access to the M Club, so this so-called upgrade was meaningless. To make matters worse, I was charged $10 for parking, a charge I’ve never encountered before at my status level. After some back and forth, they finally agreed to credit it back, but told me it would count as my $10 welcome gift. So much for loyalty perks. The hotel itself is thoroughly mediocre, and if you have any sensitivities or allergies, beware: the entire property, including the M Club, is saturated with a heavy masking fragrance that made me nauseous. Overall, this hotel feels like a cash grab with no appreciation for loyal guests. I couldn’t wait to leave, and I won’t be returning.

Good. I just don’t like the fact you have to pay for parking. That’s a real reason why I probably won’t stay there again. If I knew that in advance I wouldn’t stayed there.
