Marriott Columbia

We recently had a business trip in Columbia, South Carolina for the past several days. The best part of our stay was the food. Multiple days we ate at the restaurant in the hotel. We were fortunate enough to meet Isiah the cook. It is the consensus of our team that Isiah is operating in his gifts. The attention to detail is evident in his food. People can throw a meal together because its a job or someone can prepare a meal in a way that reflects their gift. Clearly, Isiah is serious about his craft and we trust he will continue to progress with cooking. We will return on our next trip for Isiah's cooking alone. Thanks Isiah! Keep putting out well prepared tasty food. We need it! You are the best! We appreciate you!

Travelled with my team for a business conference. I have NEVER enjoyed hotel food the way I did on this trip. I was blessed with Isiah's culinary gift for dinner and then went back for breakfast. "Crunchy French Toast" is all I have to say! He is a gem and I hope he is valued for what he does at the establishment. We would happily return just to eat his food!!!

Alexis was awesome. It was rather early when I needed a space to host a Zoom meeting. She was very accommodating and attentive to my needs at the time. Wishing her all the blessings as she moves forward with her wedding day 👀

Awesome front desk staff ( Gwen and Zima)! They provided a very warm and welcoming experience. Great check in and check out experience. Hotel is well maintained and conveniently located to restaurants, markets and places of interest. Room was super clean and comfortable.

The most incredible service by summer and Desmond but the main reason we will come back will be for the good food from Isiah!!! He’s truly a gift to this location and business. Great salmon, pizza, tapas!! We tried it all and 5 stars all round.

Had a nice stay. My server at breakfast, Summer, was absolutely fantastic. She had a welcoming smiling to start off the day and was extremely attentive the entire time while dining. Made my morning even better!

The Hotel, staff and location are excellent, restaurant quality not mediocre.

I visit Columbia frequently to spend time with family and have stayed in every Marriott Bonvoy property in the area over the years. The downtown Marriott Columbia is by far the best given its location, updated rooms and friendly staff. Ms. Lorraine provided exceptional hospitality and ensured that we had a relaxing visit. I also appreciate being walkable to the downtown farmer’s market on the weekend. Highly recommend for those looking for a great stay while in Columbia.
