Denver Marriott West

It was a nice hotel but when it says 'mountain view' it is not much to look at and the pictures make it very different. We paid extra for a 'mountain view' and patio - the pictures made it seem like we would be on a higher floor with a balcony and clear. what we got on check-in was a ground level (had to go down to get to our room) with a concrete slab and view of parking lot, highway noise and if moved chair could see part of a mountain. If we had not paid extra for this would not have been a big deal but was disappointed and told no higher floors available. Besides the room view, the food was good, drinks were good but very expensive and was easy to get places. No where within walking distance to go.

For a quick in and out visit it gets the job done.

Great property and all the staff are awesome. We will keep coming back every time we go to Red Rocks or Denver.

Room tiny. The bathroom could only fit one person at a time. Literally had to move knees while on commode to shut door. Multiple joints were left on balcony. Bottom sheet to little for bed and kept coming off. Pricey for a room like this; however amenities were nice. Good restaurant both indoor and outdoor pools super clean. Great location. Only one group of elevators leading us to walk down three halls to get to our room.

I was very disappointed in Marriott Denver West. I had reservations to stay for 6 days. The reservations were made months ago. 1- My reservation stated that parking was complimentary. Upon arrival to the hotel I was notified that the policy had been changed 3 days earlier, and that now I would be charged a $7.00 Daily parking fee. The front desk staff member was adamant and said that she was the manager. The hotel would not honor the prior policy of free parking. Very rude, but the next day when we showed the front desk staff our confirmed reservations the fee was rescinded. 2- I was not advised that due to my status with the hotel that I was entitled to complimentary breakfasts. 3- I was not advised that due to my status with the hotel that I had access to two concierge lounges. I must note that items offered in both lounges was pathetic. They should be embarrassed. There was no staff attending to either lounge area - even to try to get some water for tea. 4- Please note that even though my hotel room was clean, it's in serious need of being updated / refurbished. The furniture has nicks / dents / serious scratches that measure up to 5" x 5". Note that the pool areas, both indoor, and outdoor were very nice, with plenty of towels available in the pool areas. The elevators worked well. I am seriously disappointed in my stay at Marriott Denver West.
