Denver Marriott West

Located in Golden, Colo., about a 35-45 min ride from Denver Airport. Easy to find, right off the freeway. Quiet and comfortable and has a restaurant onsite. The hotel lobby layout is a bit deceiving. You walk in on ground level but the lobby is actually on the 2nd floor. And the building that has the lobby and front desk also houses the meeting rooms. The lodging part is actually in a separate building connected by a short corridor that is hardly noticeable. The room was quiet and spacious; plenty of closet space but the bathroom was a bit on the small size. No fan so I had to leave the door partially open to keep the mirror from steaming up. The room had a king bed, large flat screen tv, refrigerator (which was freezing cold), and a desk. I ate most meals at their restaurant, Copper Creek. Breakfast was great with a limited menu: full buffet for $22 or continental breakfast for $16. Buffett had the usual eggs and sausage, waffles, juices and yogurt. Continental breakfast was basically cold selections: cereal, bagels, juices and yogurt. I will say the coffee was quite good. The restaurant has odd operating hours. It says it’s open for lunch and dinner but the breakfast area is closed off after breakfast. You have to order from room service for anything other than breakfast. They will bring it to your room for a $5 delivery fee or you can pick it up at the front desk with no delivery charge. There are tables and chairs in the lobby area where you can sit and eat. There’s also a bar in the same area. Overall, my stay was comfortable; the food was good and quite convenient. I’d recommend it.

Can’t beat the location. SO convenient for getting Red Rocks, downtown and the airport. Property was clean and up to date. Staff very helpful

Our room was old and in desperate need of an update. Shower was old with grout missing, stain on comforter, furniture was worn, etc. I would not stay there again.

Cust Service an A++. Audrey, Ethan and Rosie at the front desk outstanding. Brian and Joel in the bar same. Hotel is great but its the people. I travel 38 weeks and stay at many Hotel but this staff exceeds all expectations. Rooms are great but the beds are even greater such a good night sleep. The amenities are also a plus, outside pool and an inside pools.

Our stay at Denver's Marriott West was for a concert at Red Rocks - and it went perfectly. The property is conveniently located to allow for easy travel to and from Golden and other nearby hot spots. Staff were welcoming and made our stay wonderful!

Lobby was welcoming and up to date. Rooms are older and could use remodel, although bedding was clean and pillows comfortable. Pool was relaxing and clean with lush greenery surrounding pool area.

Older hotel, friendly staff but price was high for its age. Good location for Red Rocks, right next to Colorado Mills mall and good restaurants. However, hotel is aged and rooms show it. The bathroom door in our room was rotted and painted over on one side.
