Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek

Great stay, comfortable rooms and super convenient location if you are attending an event at the Salt Palace (FanX for us).

A classy hotel with beautiful rooms. While the lobby is sparse and bar a little boring, I thought my room was large, the bed extremely comfortable and my workspace adequate. I also thought the bathroom was well laid out and the water pressure was great. Further, I loved having an extra couch in my room and the coffee service area within the room was well stocked. The hallways were also beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this hotel for its location as well.

3 up - Hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are clean and comfortable (unfortunately it was a cosmetic renovation) - Staff is very friendly and helpful - Hotel is conveniently located across from the convention center 3 DOWN - Terrible hot water, 2 out of 3 days I had to take a cold shower because the hot water was closer to luke warm - Thermostat was set to 66 and ran all day and night yet the room never was below 70. Maitance tried to fix it by loaded the AC with ice but that didn't do anything - WiFi connection was spotty and my laptop and tablet would not hold a connection

The view was great, the location as well and very easy access to the city creek as well as other location walking distances. Very clean room. I would definitely stay here again.

Being awakened before 8 o’clock in the morning by construction going on in the room above me was unexpected not pleasant.
